Gravity Towel Hook | The BEST Towel Hanger

My Gravity Towel Hook is a gravity-activated towel hanger that automatically clamps when weight is applied, with no springs or latches needed. I prototyped this design 10+ times. It comes with one stock hexagon pattern, and you can customize the pattern with only a few clicks in your slicer.

Print settings:

- Infill: 25%

- Infill type: your choice

- Perimeters: +2

- Filament: PLA or PETG, or whatever suits you

- Brim/raft: No

- Supports: No, except yes for the custom pattern option

- Listed profile: 1 plate, 2 hours 21 minutes

Tips:

- Best for hand towels and lighter towels; heavy towels are not recommended.

- For a heavier towel, curve the top of the towel so it sits and does not slip when you let go.

- The hold is firm without tearing or pinching fabric, and the parts snap together for a strong, sturdy design.

- Sizes (±1 mm): base part 50 x 125 x 13 mm; hook/top part 35 x 120 x 26 mm; together 50 x 125 x 26 mm; screw holes 5 mm, with two ready-made holes for wall mounting.

- .3MF print files are provided for Prusa Slicer, Bambu Studio, and Anycubic Slicer Next.

- For a custom pattern, import the file to your slicer, add a height range modifier set from 0 to 7.75, turn top and bottom shell layers to 0, then choose the infill pattern and infill percentage you want.
